OLD LYME ZONING COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY – August 24, 2009, 7:00 P.M.
Memorial Town Hall

1.   Convene Meeting; present and voting were regular members, Tom Risom, Chairman, Jane Cable, Vice Chairman, Jane Marsh, Secretary, John Johnson and John Eichholz, alternate (seated for P. Looney)
 
Also present, Ted Kiritsis (alternate), Beth Sullivan (alternate) who arrived later, Timothy Griswold, First Selectman, Joseph Wren, Jeff Montanaro

Absent:  Pat Looney

2.        Letter from First Selectman’s office requesting permission to use the parking lot at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts, 77 Lyme Street, as a construction staging area for the Church Corner project.

        Duly moved and made was a motion to allow storage of the following items on the field on the east side of Lyme Street (77 Lyme Street), owned by the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts for the purpose of materials storage and parking of equipment for the duration of the Church Corner project:

                -  Storage container (10’x 20’)
                -  Port-a-pottie, with stockade fence
                -  Granite curbing
                -  Pile of processed gravel (up to 60 tons)
                -  Backhoe, rubber wheeled excavator, payloader, water truck and 20’ trailer
                -  Approx. five employee vehicles (during the day)

        the motion was approved unanimously 5-0-0.

3.    Workshop to continue the discussion and draft a new version of the amendments to the PRCD that will include energy efficiency standards – Next Special Meeting to be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the second floor conference room, Town Hall.

4.     Adjourn.                                         

                Duly moved and seconded was a motion to adjourn the August 24, 2009 Special Meeting; the motion was approved unanimously and the meeting was adjourned at 8:33 p.m.
